What is Hawaiian Astaxanthin?

Astasanthin is nature's super Carotenoid and an exceptionally powerful antioxidant found in certain species of plants, animals, and microalgae. Carotenoids are a family of over 700 natural lipid-soluble pigments that are only produced by phytoplankton, algae, plants, and a limited number of fungi and bacteria.
